COSTS

Champali Camp:
The rates for Champali are charged per day for the whole camp un-catered, irrespective of the number of people, up to the maximum of 10 people.

Rates:
From July 2010-May 2011: 26,000kshs per night for up to 10 people including children over the age of 5 years. Thereafter, surcharge of 1500/- per adult or child in excess of 10 people, up to a maximum of 14 people.

Booking Terms & Conditions:
20% deposit upon booking. Balance of payment due 30 days before arrival date.

Cancellation Policy:
30 -15 DAYS - 20%; 14 -7 DAYS - 50%; 7 DAYS OR LESS - 100%

Camp boat hire during stay:
A price list is available in camp.

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS):
Kenya Wildlife Service charges a Conservation Fee per day per person for all visitors to the Kiunga Marine Reserve which is paid directly to KWS once you are there.
Non-resident - $15 a day. Kenyan Resident - 300 Kshs. Kenyan Citizen - 100 Kshs

Cash payments:
Fresh sea food, Lamu shopping and KWS marine park fees will all require cash payment in Lamu/Kiwaiyu, as of course will Champali staff tips.
